In the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy, during the nine month period of pregnancy the mother is physically and spiritually the vessel into which the unborn baby is placed, and so your state of health is in every way of the greatest importance. According to TCM, the baby inherits Inborn Qi (individual’s energy foundation) from the parents, which determines the baby’s basic physical and mental constitution, and governs his or her growth and development.
To gift your baby with a strong constitution and the foundation for a lifetime of good health, Inbal Sigler, the founder of Isis HypnoBirthing & Yoga, is delighted to offer you a 2 hours masterclass of feminine, gentle and nourishing Yoga practice, paired with elements of HypnoBirthing. A powerful, safe and effective healing practice, which encourages the life force energy to flow continuously within your body and to the baby. The practice releases energy blocks so that you feel energized, refreshed and confident with your body strong and lengthened, and your mind grounded in a deep dimension of calm. This enhancement of your health, energy and well-being has a direct positive influence on the development of your baby in the womb, as it provides him or her with a healthy stress-free environment to thrive.
We will start this masterclass by going into theory on how our personal and cultural belief system directly shapes our birth experience, identifying our feelings, expectations and concerns we might hold of giving birth. Tools for strengthening positive beliefs about oneself and birth will be explained, as well as the physiology of birth and the role of hormones.
Following the theory we will move into the actual practice- Breath awareness, relaxation techniques, review of comfort measures and postures, birth visualisation- all are integrated into a gentle, nourishing Yin Flow class. Maintaining a continuous round flow from pose to pose and throughout the practice, you can truly experience a sense of wholeness.
